We are a handbell ensemble that will participate in a week-and-a-half rehearsal process before performing at the Holiday Concert on December 11th.

- The ability to read music, as this will not be covered during rehearsal.
- The time and ability to practice your parts at home before rehearsals begin due to our very short timeline.

This club is dedicated to the exploration and understanding of amateur rocketry and aerospace. We learn about avionics, motors, safety, and eventually compile that into the design of personalized model rockets. This is a space for learning, and most, if not all, the skills we talk about can be applied to other fields and crafts. Hope to see you there!

NAHS is a club that creates opportunities to foster artistic voices within ACMA and the larger community. The NAHS Pledge “I will in my life, to the best of my ability through my talents in art, help to create a more beautiful world for myself, for humankind, and for all living things.”

NAHS Requirements: - Only open to high school students who are enrolled in at least one visual art class a year. This includes draw/paint/sculpture/ceramics/photo/animation/film. - Members must maintain a B average in art classes, volunteer for a minimum of 1 activity each quarter. The National Honor Society is an organization devoted to the promotion of leadership, character, scholarship and community service. The NHS organization has been recognizing and honoring outstanding high school students since 1921. In the past NHS students have been guides for functions at ACMA, assisted with Art/Music Days, organized activities at ACMA, held food and clothing drives, helped with International Day, ushered at graduation, worked on BIPOC artist panels, mentored new students, written to senior citizens in nursing homes, and put together holiday sharing activities. In summary, we do good things for the ACMA community, and we would love to have you join us.
Membership Criteria / Qualifications
Eligible high school students must be a sophomore, junior or senior at ACMA, maintain a 3.5 cumulative GPA, always demonstrate good character, and work to develop leadership skills through participation in service projects throughout the school year.

Reporters - Students interested in gathering stories related to their pathways or other happenings around ACMA to share with writers/editors. This includes pictures, video footage, and a written description of what's happening.
Editors - Students will take stories from the reporters and compile them into stories in the newsletter.
Writers - Write stories about life at ACMA and assist editors and reporters.

THRIVE is a club for general support around mental health. It is run by our school social worker, Meaghan Mikulic and Mindfulness Studies teacher Michelle Hart.
