It’s way more than building robots. FIRST Tech Challenge teams (up to 15 team members, grades 7-12) are challenged to design, build, program, and operate robots to compete in a head-to-head challenge in an alliance format. The robot kit is reusable from year to year and can be coded using a variety of levels of Java-based programming. Teams design and build robots, raise funds, design and market their team brand, and do community outreach to earn specific awards. Participants are eligible to apply for $80M+ in college scholarships.
Membership Criteria / Qualifications
FTC is for 7th-12th grade. However, 6th graders are able to come visit and join the robotics club. For now, they will not be allowed to join the competition team. (If space allows and there is a strong commitment to the team, we might be able to make an exception for our 6th graders).

Explain the Purpose / Mission of this Club
This club is a revisited, and revitalized form of Adventurers Of ACMA. Adventurers Of ACMA was a group 3 years ago that brought students together to play Dungeons & Dragons. It was quite chaotic back then, which is what led me to discontinue it. But with some more knowledge now, and more friends interested in the game, I'd like to do a reboot.
