Theatre Director - Jeff Painter

After close to two decades working in the professional theatre, Jeff felt called to change careers and become a teacher of theatre, and is so happy to now call ACMA his home. Jeff believes that in the theatre we practice building model socieites, and at ACMA he strives to co-create a community (along with students) which practices radical inclusivity, which constantly raies the bar for ourselves, for each other, and for our community, and which is committed to honoring our lofty charge as thespians to truthfully portray our complicated human experiences.

Associate Director - Brian Bertram

Mr. Bertram is proud to be an associate director for the ACMA Theatre Company! He has been a part of this family for 15+ years, and has a passion for the stage...especially musicals. He is so glad that ACMA can be a place of honesty, integrity, and truth on stage, and that the theatre company trusts him to find that and bring it out in the shows he is so lucky to direct. He believes that our company can be a home for anyone looking to support the stage and all that live theatre has to offer.
