Regional High School Dance Festival (RHSDF)
Participation is open to students, currently enrolled in 9th - 12th grades at the time of the festival, and representing the programs in their high schools, both in the United States and abroad. High schools may include public, private or parochial. Independent dance studios and home school students are not eligible for registration.

Registration is not considered complete until the registration form is completed and payment is rendered.
$225 includes 2 faculty or 1 faculty/1 chaperone, and up to 25 students.
PLEASE NOTE: There is a limit of 25 students per high school.

Hi Everyone,
We are super excited to see you on Friday February16th. In this email is a list of items that we are asking everyone to follow or bring along with you to the theater on Friday. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at ACMA-Dance@beaverton.k12.or.us
Check List
1. We are asking everyone to arrive at the PAC (Performing Art Center-11375 SW Center St., Beaverton, OR 97005) which is located next to the school (color is red, black & sliver building) at 5p.m (please don’t come any earlier, we need this time to set up) to receive your boxes with all the information (Dance Schedule, Performance Schedule, badges, Mapping of school, and Ads etc.) needed for the dance festival.
2. All teachers please bring USB plugs, and Phone Adaptors if needed. We do have Apple TV’s & Internet connection that will link your items to our system, but we just want to be safe.
3. Liability Forms signed by your students.
4. We ask that No Nut items are allowed in the building due to allergies. Thank you.
5. We must all be out of the building by 9:30p.m due to school district rules.
6. If you have any questions, we will have volunteers (Badge color: Green) throughout the building to help assist you with any questions that you may have.
7. We ask that everyone bring Cash Only to purchase snacks and drinks from ACMA Dance. We will have a Coffee and Pastry Food Truck for everyone to purchase snacks too. The trucks do take Credit Cards/Cash.
8. We are welcoming parents to watch the Saturday night Feb 17th (6:30p.m & 8p.m) show only with a $10 entry fee. Tickets can be purchased online at BOOKTIX The pre-sale Code is: RHSDF 2024 (We are limited to 200 seats. The pre-sale box is located to the far right. This code must be used since we are limiting to family and friends of performers.
9. Please remind students to bring warm-up clothes, water bottles and change of clothing.
10. School will be open at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday morning for self-warm-up.
11. Parking is in the back of the school. Please follow signs.
12. Please wear badges the entire time you are in the building for security reasons.

Join us for a wonderful weekend of high school dance and a great recruitment opportunity!
High school dancers attend the festival with their teachers and are ready to explore!
Typically, high schools are from the West Coast and travel from as far south as California and as far north as Vancouver, BC.
The Regional High School Dance Festival is a great opportunity to recruit and exhibit for your dance program. The college fair will take place on Saturday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Setup will be Fri after 5pm. Recruiters will have the opportunity to speak with students and their teachers throughout the weekend.
$275 per exhibitor - includes 1 exhibit table, 2 chairs, admittance for two to all festival activities, and one copy of the printed program book.
Power in the festival exhibit hall is an additional cost. Table coverings are NOT included.

Won't your institution offer a Scholarship?
There are many deserving and talented students attending the Regional High School Dance Festival. Many are attending the festival so that they can offset their college tours by meeting and interviewing with many schools and programs in one place. We invite you to offer a scholarship or participate in the audition day to accept students to your program. Scholarship auditions Feb 17th from 8:30 am to 11am.

Festival Recruitment Policy
Audition classes will be held on Saturday February 17, 2023 from 8:30 am – 11am at the PAC STAGE, Beaverton, Arts & Communication Magnet Academy, 11375 SW Center Street, Beaverton, OR 97005.
Auditions are open only to those students who have registered PRIOR TO ARRIVAL AT THE FESTIVAL and paid as full Festival participants. You may not use the festival audition to audition outside students.
In accordance with the philosophy of the NATIONAL & REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL DANCE FESTIVAL, we ask all recruiters to observe the following guidelines:
- Only official representatives from each college/university and/or summer scholarships may be present at the auditions.
- No high school teachers, chaperones, parents, or students are permitted to enter the audition area.
- Interviews with individual students should be scheduled in the Exhibition area. Recruiters may observe Festival classes, space permitting.
- Recruiters may attend all concerts.
- Recruiters may not offer students gifts or favors.
- No individual on-site auditions are permitted during the Festival.
