Choir

Kendra Symonds taught choir, musical theater, orchestra, band, and handbells for over 15 years in the SF Bay Area before moving to Oregon.  She holds a master's degree in music education and has extensive experience conducting adult and youth choral and instrumental ensembles.  In addition to teaching at ACMA, Kendra serves on the Education Committee for the national board of Handbell Musicians of America, and is the Administrative Coordinator for San Jose State University's Three Summer Master's in Music Education program. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, trying out new recipes from New York Times Cooking, and getting climbed on by her two toddlers.
