Career Development • 0.5 Credit (earned over 4 years)

Community Service Requirements: 

ACMA students must complete a minimum of 40 hours of Community Service (or a 90 hours requirement for an ACMA Honors Scholar) as a requirement for Graduation.

         Required Hours: 40          Honors Scholar Hours: 90

Community Service Guidelines

Below is a link to an electronic log students can use to track and submit their hours.  We recommend spreading the required hours over the four (4) years of high school.  Community Service done in middle school does not count towards this graduation requirement.  Work with your Counselor for suggestions of service opportunities.

Outdoor School:

ACMA's 6th Graders participate in Outdoor School each year.  HS students can volunteer and earn Community Service hours as a Student Leader for Outdoor School.  This opportunity is through Northwest Regional ESD and an application is required.  Because of the time commitment of a week when school is in session; the following criteria is required to qualify for this opportunity:

• 10th -12th grade students only
• Minimum GPA of 2.5
• Minimum Attendance of 85%
• C’s or higher - latest Report Card
• Only once per semester
